To capture Spotify’s eclectic, playful, and unique personality, I worked to create a visually-led brand expression that allows Spotify to connect with culture and spark curiosity on a global scale. Through a flexible design system and eye-catching visuals, we were able to capture the ever-changing nature of culture as it’s unfolding, evolving, and remixing. Whatever is happening in the world, it’s also happening on Spotify right now.

To show the breadth and flexibility of this campaign, we utilized high impact placements in cultural hot spots including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, and Atlanta. We created eclectic animations, illustrations, wild postings, and hand-painted murals that borrowed visual and cultural inspiration from each city.

 

Creator Shorts

To further highlight the the unique and personal relationship listeners have to Spotify, we worked with creators of varying disciplines from around the world to create visual interpretations of Spotify playlists.
